Will headers make you run rich???
I think that he means Megan Racing Headers. I have those headers on my car and they have always been leaking. At first i thought that they were warped or something but it turns out that they were always missing a weld in the middle section. I dont think that they should make ur car run richer. Do u have a air/fuel gauge?
That's incorrect too:

Not necessarily. It does improve flow, but that may move it into higher load table in the map, and if you have looked at the stock map it gets richer as load increases. Therefore more flow = more load = more fuel. I noticed this as well when installed a header on my car. I leaned it out and picked up some noticeable power. Not much of a gain until I pulled some fuel out though
that manifold could be sending you into a load range that is way off(tune wise). This would cause you to have a rich condition because you are simply running in a load range that you are not tuned for.
By rights, if your boost didn't increase and all else stayed the same, you should notice a bit faster spool and would run a little leaner AFR's. The decrease in backpressure would be the biggest contributing factor. The less restrictive the manifold is(and everything else after it...i.e. turbine section, o2 housing, TBE.) the more this lean condition is pronounced.
