You know, you have been constantly trying to prove how much better you and Dave Buschur are than everyone else. A majority of the people on this very forum do not "race" or "tune professionally" or try to "break records". We own Evos because we enjoy high performance machines. Some of them are our daily drivers and some not. Despite what you may think, there is more to a car than going 160mph in a straight line. We don't all "live our lives a quarter mile at a time." That is great that you only get to enjoy your Evo 10 seconds or so at a time. I personally prefer to drive mine to work, school, back home and occasionall to SCCA and track events. It's more of an all around machine. I get to enjoy mine on a daily basis, you do not. Because I don't put my car on a drag strip doesn't make me any less of an enthusiast as you. On that same note, because I am not a "real racer", whatever that means, doesn't make me any less of a person. If I chose a track course as opposed to a straight line course, that doesn't make one better than the other. Different strokes for different folks, as they say. In this country I have what is commonly reffered to as Freedom of Speech. I can say whatever I feel. A real successful tuner doesnt need to argue with 19 year old zit mongers or use any words for that matter, they show what they are made of with results. So quit trying to belittle people. Try educating them instead of telling everyone that Buschur is a genious and advising them to buy his products. I'm quite sure if his reputation is what he says it is he doesn't need the assistance of a cheerleader shouting "Go Buschur, Buschur go!!!. There are other products that work just as well. I enjoy reading your rediculous comments such as "arguing with some zit faced 19 year old", it shows how ignorant and immature you are. In closing, I'm not e-thugging or trying to bait you into some mindless debate, I'm voicing an opinion. Thanks for listening.

I think you are missing the point

I do not hate on people who live normal lives and use the evo as a fun daily driver whip

I hate on people wih Supras and Porcshe's who call out my evo to a race and say they will beat me - but who have not even finshed their cars and who's car have never even run down the track

I am not against those who simply own an evo

I am against those who go on the internet and TALK about how they will beat me or others and TALk about how they are GOING to do this or THAT

In other words

A **** TALKER who says they can do X, Y or Z but has done nothing

I hope this clarifies my view

as for 19 year olds - I just mention then as I was dealing with a few 19 year old supra owners recently

I have nothing against 19 year olds as I have many customers who are 19

I have something against all **** talkers of any age who never ran a time but somehow feel qualified to come on the internet and attack some real racer's time, accomplishments and call them out to a race in a non existant car that never ran

Finally

I am using the follwoing Buschur Parts on my car

Buschur Race FMIC

Fmic Pipes

Buschur 3.5 " exhuast

Mini Battery Kit

Buschur Ingition

Buschur engine

Buschur fuel pumps

Buschur aem base map and aem set up

Buschur mini radiator

Buschur custom turbo install

Therefore, when the car takes off like a rocket - I am so elated and happy with my purchases from Buschur and all the advice and help he and Dan Buschur have given me that I spontaneously yelled out in joy - BUSCHUR POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every top fuel racer I have ever seen interviewed on ESPN at the end of the return road climing out of his car FIRST gives thanks to his sponsors and THEN talks about the run

Racers understand that sponsors are what makes this hobby possible

To me giving thanks to a company which makes good parts that get your car down the track fast is the right thing to do

Maybe I have it all backwards >?

Al

remember it was a license test - not a record attempt

I launched easy shifted smooth and lifted before the end (I was trying to stay under 150 actually)

Oh well !

Al, would a 4inch exhaust benefit you at all? any reason why you're not running one?

i look foward to bringing my Evo/parts for it to you when i pick it up soon. i live in Danbury so we're pretty close.

"9.90's on a GT42r is not impressive", this is what was said. Well watch the pass, note the easy launch and also note the lifting before he even reached the finish line. While you are noting that look at the MPH of 154 on a pass that wasn't even close to being all it could be........the 154 mph speaks for itself. THAT is impressive and you have to also consider that Al's car is freaking heavy for being this fast. You are talking about a 350 pound driver, full legal cage, two seats, full exhaust etc.

I'm impressed. To this day I have never personally made a 10 second pass in an AWD car. I quite trying long ago, but the point is, it isn't so easy.

Great job Al. I appreciate the mention in the video!

WHAT????
if a good driver has taken your RS to 9 seconds shouldn't you be able to pull a 10?

not even in any of the !G dsm's? like your old orange one??

you should fix this ASAP!

Too bad you can't throw a 2 speed powerglide in there and keep the AWD huh?

Who was driving on the 8 second run in the black car? and the 9 in your RS? Dan? Kevin Lawson??

Dude this was a run for him to get his license do you not comprehend this? Running 9's at over 150 means he is driving a really effing quick car, why would you go for a record breaking run when you are trying to just pass a test and not set quick times?

Stop telling Al what to do, it will run quicker when he runs it for times, this was just to be allowed to do that.

Where do you come across talking this nonsense? do you have any reading comprehension at all?

When did al say anything about AMS or the others. He hasnt mentioned anyones name on here.

Who said he built the car to granny shift and not drive the **** out of it?
WHAT PART OF A LICENSE TEST DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!!!!!?????

He already stated he wasnt taking it that day to see what it can do. It was for his 9 sec license. Fast Cars break as we all know. Last thing he needed was the car to break and him not get his highly earned license.

EDIT:
scorke beat me to it... lol
