Ok, so the exhaust is going on as we speak and my shop warned me of not being able to pass emissions with this exhaust...

What are you guys doing to get around this? Fix this? Any issues with the Law on the street or just when u need to go in for your inspection???

Depends how they check for emissions. I know in NJ and NYC they just plug in a computer into the OBD II port to see if there were any codes thrown. They might do a visiual check under the car but thats easy to get passed. Why not just get a high flow cat and install that instead of the test pipe? It'll make the exhaust quieter and attract less attention from cops, depending if your car is tuned rich and backfiring.
