600+ whp again, this is getting boring....
Finished up another car this week. Great build again. We have so many going on right now I am starting to forget about posting results. This car belongs to Peter R. from New York.
2004 RS. Complete BR build, T67 Ptrim turbo with header, BF272 cams, 2 liter, Stg 3 head, 1200 cc injectors, BR double pumper, N1 suspension, Giro Disc rotors etc. Basically built my car, my RS.
With the new suspension on the car I had to corner weight it and align it. The car came in very light, 2982 pounds. That was with the spare tire, jack, tool kit, a silencer for his muffler, turbo inlet and filter still in the trunk! Also had an engine damper on it and the front strut bar. Stock wheels too. I can see this car getting down to 2850 without driver pretty easily and still have all the safety stuff intact.
The car made 630 whp on C16, pretty effortlessly. Trent and I attempted to road test it but the roads were damp and the damp roads and this car did not mix, nothing but violent wheels spin.
We filled it with 94 octane and loaded the pump gas map in it. Car was still stink fast.
Peter showed up to pick the car up. Always makes me nervous when a guy shows up to get his 600+ whp car with no trailer and is going to make a 10 hour trip back home. We went out to check out the car, he was very happy with everything and off he went.
I spoke with Peter this morning to make sure he got back O.K. He said the car performed flawlessly and was in the process of loading his race gas map and some C16 in it. A little street action...........
Then this morning we went in, Jarrod, Trent and myself. We got Jarrod's new EVO9 rear bumper on, new wheels/tires, new rear section for his exhaust and a pump gas tune. Trent's car has been under the knife for awhile. Waiting for the perfect combination of parts. We finished bolting it together this afternoon and headed out for a fresh tank of 94 octane. This car is rediculously fast on pump gas. I tuned it at 25 psi, I think it is probably the fastest pump gas EVO I have driven in yet. Trent's car is also a 2 liter, Stg 3 head, BF272 cams, GT35R header kit, 1000 cc injectors and for now just our single HO pump. This car on C16 with the double pumpers installed is going over 600 whp for sure, you can just feel it.
Also, while we were out in both of these cars, Peter's and Trent's I was watching the air intake temps. Both cars are equipped with our Race FMIC. The AIT temps only raised as much as 8 degrees over a 1-4 gear pull up to 135 mph.

David -- Would you please PM what it would cost to take my basically stock 9 (Nisei LICP, Megan Racing TBE, o2 housing, and Walbro) to ~500whp and give me an idea of the expected power and tq curves? I would really like something that is hitting solid numbers by 4500 and screaming up to redline. Thanks
Oh yeah -- I have your shifter bushings

NICE!!! racking 'em up dave...
Dave, other than injectors, do you need to change the stock fuel rail, FPR or lines when you add your std. walbro double pumper system...to accomplish 600whp?

With the double pumpers the lines, rail and regulator can remain stock. You just install the double pumper and then go. The stock rail is good up to about 740 whp on our dyno.
Both these cars are our built 2 liters with our Stage 3 head.

I spoke to Pete today and he is more then exited about his car. I spoke ot him while he was on his way back from Ohio to NY and he was telling me the car was flawless on the long drive home.
