injectors for Evo Green

quick question,

i know i need upgraded injectors, saw some 1000cc from buschur for 310.00...

is this overkill? can someone recommend what capacity i need? upto 1000 cc there doesnt seem to be a huge price advantage, so if its not overkill i was going to just go for those.

awaiting your expert input~!

1k injectors for FP green is overkill, 880 should do the trick or 720

I'm using Denso 720's and they are fine for this turbo application. I do know that the driveability is still stocklike with these. I've never used larger than 720's so I don't know how much of an issue 1000's would be.

Hope that helps.

I've got some PTE 680s for sale 200 bucks shipped to your door, probably have to buy replacement o-rings, used for 20k miles.

Who said you need injectors? I have an EvoGreen and I don't have upgraded injectors. My duty cycles are good and everything else is fine. Contact vendor CBRD for more information.

Get the 1000s. In a year or so, you'll be able to run E85, if not sooner, and you'll need the 1000s.

seriously guys....1000cc injectors are not overkill. They are just as easy to tune as the smaller injectors, just with a lot lower duty cycles. You might experience some idle misfires due to these injectors' spray pattern and fuel atomization at low duty cycles. This can be tuned out using a adjustable FPR, by lowering static fuel pressure at idle. When you re-tune for this different fuel pressure, your injector pulse width will be higher at idle and will help with idle misfires. It's really simple to get around, if you even notice these misfires at idle. Most people won't even have a problem with this at all.

By going with a larger injector, you will have a lot of injector head room left......allowing you to never have to really worry about injectors, even if you decide to go with a much larger turbo than the 20g lt. You will be fine. The price difference is almost negligable. Go with the 1000cc's.

780's the max DC I think I've seen so far is in the high 70%'s. I'd say +1 on the 1000cc if you have any plans of upgrading ever. I wish I would have planned far enough head to do this.

And he is absolutely correct. It makes little sense to use larger unless you really plan to go to at least a GT35R in the immediate future.

Thats just it......if there is no real difference in price, why no go with the larger injectors? You never know what you might want to do later down the road....and at least you know you will have plenty of injector for the duty currently at hand as well. Also, think about using E85? You will need a really large injector if you ever want to tune for E85, and you will want to....once it's more widely avaiable. It's a awesome flex fuel that has a very high detonation threshold(high octane).

To thread starter, don't bother listening to garbage. Get a larger injector and be done with it! It won't hurt you. It will only keep you future proofed down the road.

BTW.....i ran 1600cc precision injectors on my RSX....lol. Now, thats a big injector!
