Thanks Marti and you know me, I mean I know I stole some of your snap-on tools from your shop but you know I returned them couple days later, lol

I was a bit ticked as I figured he would have told me before I bought it. I called Memo and talked to him about it. He apologized over and over and over, he hung up to call his brother and his brother confessed he hit a deer, fixed it and never told him. I do honestly without a shadow of a doubt believe Memo did not know about it.

Memo offered to give me back the FULL amount I paid for the car after I had been driving it for a month or give me something to compensate for it. I kept some Evo 7 tails that I was supposed to give back to him and we called it good. That is pretty STAND UP if you ask me.

Im sure if he was in the wrong he would offer to give back a few hundred dollars if he offered to give me back well over $20,000. I honestly dont see him ripping anyone off. Im sure anyone that knows him can vouch for his character.

Back on topic!
That's something that shouldn't have happened. Whatever you tell here doesn't actually do the justice. Sometimes people may forget to mention or include what they are suppose to, those cases, you should do whatever it takes to make other person happy. I could have done something to the car and totally forgot to mention about it. It was my car that I sold and it was my responsibility to know what happened to the car and tell you exactly. . Bottom point is that, I was very embarassed and I think I should get you a set of JDM headlights to match your 7 tails

Thanks man!!! I really appreciate. I will post some action videos once I sell my ebay-style not authentic hks bov's as real HKS SSQVs so that I can afford a nice camera.

I added everything up and its about $19,000 in parts alone not including labor or tuning. However this includes EVERYTHING, both power and drivetrain. Labor would be about 3-4k I'm guessing if you needed every single thing installed. Not sure what DB charges for tuning, but for around $23,000 OTD and 600+whp I think its well worth it if you have the means.

I don't know yet, IA Performance still has the car. Had to convert Exedy twin to a triple and dual fuel pumps. After everything that is going on with the car is worked out with the retune, I will definetly let you know.

Memo would never screw anyone. We usually screw him out of money when he is selling stuff since he is such a nice car. Hell, I think I still owe him for a gauge

Buschur Team,
What is the proper procedure or steps one needs to take to plan a serious build? Does an individual e-mail/PM Mr. Dave Buschur himself and begin exchanging ideas? Or does one have to follow a certain "chain of command" and start with Jarrod or Nick before moving on to the bosses? IM sure there's a lot of coordination involved especially with so many out of state cars being worked on, projects, and so on. IM planning a build for Buschur Racing after I come back from my deployment. Something right up Mr. Dave Buschurs alley, an ultimate "Street" Evo build. Thanks for your time, awesome build!

You can talk with any of us really. Myself, Nick and David have all set up big builds and can point you down the right path for what you are wanting to build. Its best to work with only one of us and not bounce around between us as things can get messed up that way. Working one on one keeps it individual and pretty much headache free.

If any of you have any questions or would like to inquire about something like this (or anything for that matter) please feel free to shoot one of us a message/email or give us a call.

little update.. i arrived ohio and drove the car around the town little bit on race gas.. crazy.. looses traction on 3rd gear.. with almost no sleep I got over the last few days, i was fully wake when the boost hits!!!

Tune is flawless and drives like stock. Buschwacker + tilton shifts so smooth that it is hard to miss a shift. I have to get back on the road, but will give more update on when I get back.

Thanks Buschur!!!!

Thank YOU memo, it is a pleasure dealing with you. One of these days though you need to take a day or two off from work and stick around so we can hang out, get some dinner and just relax. You kill yourself every trip you make.

Come back down for one of the shootouts for a few days!!

Nice seeing you again, the car is just sick fast.

Thanks Dave. I would love to come during the shootout and stay for couple days, although you guys will be busy, maybe we all can get something to eat quickly. Thank god the weather was nice on the way back, otherwise with almost no sleep i had, i would have had to stay there.

Can't wait to change the maps on the car and see how the pump gas will feel. At least I won't loose traction on 3rd gear

BTW, the gas light still didn't come on, I think even with the c16 tune, I am getting better mpg than my diesel truck

It would be silly to go to track with c16 and summer tires. I will probably go with the pump gas one of those weeks and see how it does and later with c16 and drag radials.

Again, thanks for everything and cant wait to come back there.

Its always a pleasure to work with you Memo. Glad you are happy with the car! Let me know if you need anything or if there is anything I / we can help you with.

Now stop making excuses and go to the track.

BTW: Thanks for the beer! That is some pretty potent stuff.

I am actually in the process of ordering some drag radials. How did you get yours in 245/40/18? I don't see that size available

Glad you liked the beer, I can always send/bring more Just don't drink before you hit the track hehe

Thanks for everything

I found out about that size back in the early winter and was set on getting them as I thought they were just released because I did not see them before. Well I am assuming they were just released at that time and guessing they werent good sellers as they discontinued them awfully quickly.

I got the last full set of the 245/40/18's. When I ordered them there were only 7 left in stock in the country at Tire Rack. I ordered 5 so that left 2. They informed me at that time that they were discontinued.

I only drink after the racing is done for the day. I have a hard enough time as it is!

No problem man! You're a pleasure to work with.
