You'll need a new discharge tube unless you already have an Evo 9. You can bend the existing coolant and oil lines. Personally, I would get new gaskets too along with some cams that are a little more aggressive, but that's just me.

ALso, do a search

30psi? With meth or race gas? I assume C16 with that much boost. I would think around 400whp and maybe some more torque. Also you need a lot more supporting mods, such as intake, MBC, injectors, FMIC, IC pipes. I mean you dont NEED all of the parts listed but why upgrade your turbo when you dont have the basics yet?

Also what type of 264s for the IX?

Try a search man. You posted 1 thread about a white rabbit turbo like 10 minutes ago. There is a bunch of information on this site and you havent taken the time to look for it.

What 264 cams? From who? Not all 264 cams are the same. I would go with at least some HKS 272 cams.

I'm actually planning on some HKS 280 cams with a 20g-LT turbo(EvoGreen).

BTW, don't bother buying the extremly over priced upgrade kit for the 20g. There is a thread floating around here with the part numbers of the pieces you need. It will turn out to be about 80 bucks i believe. If you opt to keep your existing coolant and oil lines, they can be bent.

You dont need C16 for 30psi on the Green.

with 280s wouldnt your powerband be strong up to about 8000rpms? isnt the green gonna be tapering at 8000rpms? i thought the green would be more suited for 264s/272s

I just finished my 9 with the EvoGreen and I'm still on stock cams. Cams really are not required (although they will help flatten your torque out, and give you a little more HP past the 6800rpm drop off of stock), but you really should have more mods than what you listed. Here is my Dynojet results, and my mods are listed after...

Exedy Twin Disk
Forced Performance EvoGreen turbo - ported
Forced Performance wastegate
Buschur ported/coated stock exhaust manifold
Buschur stainless steel coated O2 housing
SMC meth kit
Aquamist DDS3
HKS DLI II
LC-1 wideband w/ XD-16 A/F gauge
Stewart Warner boost gauge
780cc Injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Injen FMIC
Injen LICP
Injen Upper Pipe
Injen Intake
Forge Unos MBC
TTP dowpipe
Test Pipe
TurboXS cat-back

Good luck if you go with one - I love it

You are somewhat correct, but i don't recommend running anything higher than 8000rpm anyway. Not on the stock head, and CERTAINLY not on the stock rods/pistons.

With the HKS 280's and stock springs/retainers, i would not even try to rev 8000rpms, because of the aggresive ramp rates. I would limit it at 7800rpms.

It's a win/win situation if you know what your limits are.

Where do you get this stuff? The HKS280s are 100% fine to go to 8000rpm on the stock valvetrain. Its cams with very high lift and ramp like JUN, TOMEI and Revolver that need valve springs and retainers. NOT HKS 280s. They are not aggressive like they are made out to be.
