Got this today. Ill also end the debate between shep and TRE. Ive had 3 trannys and one diff built by TRE. This is my first shep built tranny. Shep had this tranny built and at my house in less than a week. Its dead silent in every gear. All the TRE trannies ive had whined. Best of all, EVERY time i called somone answered the phone. I called TRE 5 times a day for a week (before i was forced to call shep) and never got a person on the phone.

Oh, and Im having to buy a new tranny because my TRE tranny exploded 4th gear. Not saying John did anything wrong, i do have a HHP car. But i dont shift hard or fast and it seems odd for 4 gear to go out like that.

This is just my experience, take it for what its worth.

 

Shep is amazing IMHO his stuff is superior to TRE and also Shep supports the racers in the Evo community !

You definetly made the right choice, I had my T-case and Tranny rebuilt by Shep.

 

I could have bought a 12 sec mustang for the price of this tranny.

I have a Shep transmission and it was worth every penny. Slam the gears and it doesnt grind. Smooth and tight feel, love every shift of the car.
