They don't run much timing and also run stock MIVEC tables. That is why.

Was this a silver IX from lancaster? The owner is a Sky dive instructor?
Just curious because I think he may have stopped by my shop. ( He works for NTB part time ) I referred him to you and I remember him saying he had a works flash.

I was about to say the same thing, but you beat me to it IMO, the best thing about the P2 Works flash is their ECU boost control. The restrictor pill that they use on the turbo side give so much flexibility to tuning boost using the WGDC tables. It was so much fun playing with the table you gave me and the table from Works to get the idle boost mix back when I had my 8.

I was even able to test the impact of their pill on a stock Evo 8 map. The 2 byte load logged 290 which is approximately 24 psi. Had I removed the pill on the solenoid side The spike could have been higher by 2 psi.

Behan (Steve) told me about my car being threaded on evom. I decided to check it out. Steve gets the credit for referring me to you, CBRD. Yes this is my car. I guess I should have done more research into the WORKS P2 flash. I was expecting a little, not much, but more out of what I did to it. I was hoping to reach 315hp and similar tq with the BR manifold, BR ported hotside, WORKS 02 housing, WORKS 76mm ceramic coated and heat wraped dp and WORKS HFC and RMR catback.

Chad, if you want my car for a few days to play around, let me know. Beautiful shop by the way.

Steve is the man! he is the most professional manager of any tire/wheel company i have met, its a pleasure to have him in our shop, because he appreciates what it is we are trying to do.

your car is by no means "weak".... remember our dyno is a heartbreaker. I think works does a good job of sending out SAFE flash maps, and they do some truly AWESOME stuff, above the bar for sure.

but, would we like to do some custom flash tuning on the car for you? sure thing.

June 2nd is our open house! bring the car down!

I am by no means upset at the numbers I put down. I wanted a conservative tune. WORKS has really taken care of me with the other parts that I have purchased from them. It's my weekend autocrosser so having huge power in the parking lots is a waste. Besides, I'd rather be on a dyno that puts out real world numbers. You guys are purists and I like that in a shop.

I'll definetly be down for the open house, when does it start? Just le me know when you want my car and I'll drop it off for a few days.
