Radiator

you will be wasting your money if you buy a koyo, etc. The position of the manifold is the problem your having. The koyo, pwr, etc all sit pretty much in the same location as the factory unit. Not only that, the koyo is wider so its going to sit closer to the manifold still.
You are going to need to go with a small radiator that pushes the hose away from the manifold closer towards the driver side of the engine bay and the hose runs straight instead of having a bend.
AMS sells the entire kit for a good price and it works fine in traffic etc. You can also go with a honda radiator they fit exactly perfect but you will need to fab a simple bracket up. check ebay for one $120 or so.
Thats the way I would go unless you want to change the manifold out.

Good luck.

Radiator

or you can do something like this as it moves the hose over to a more traight position away from the manifold.

looking at that manifold pic, the only radiator that will work is the PWR for the EVO5/6. then the upper radiator hose will have a str8 line from the radiator 2 the water pump. if u r having temp issues u need a few things to resolve that:

1) obviously the radiator
2) low temp thermostat
3) coolant flush + redline water wetter
4) Tomei Thermo Killer-will allow oil to flow regardless of oil temp
5) ceramic coat that exhaust manifold
6) either replace oil cooler, or get the HKS Kansai/Varis ducting to help the stock one get more air
7) change all your fluids to higher quality synthetics to allow less friction-trans/diffs/oil

Where can you buy an evo 5 pwr? Im also looking for one, my stock has a leak, and I am having fitment issues with upper radiator hoses due to my manifold. I also dont want one thicker than stock, due to wg/turbo clearance issues. Any info on a vendor/website that is trust worthy and speedy would be nice.

edit: I think I found a part number for the 40mm, is this correct? PWR2720, and once again anyone recommend a vendor/website

Housedj: This Kansai/Varis oil cooler ducting sounds interesting. Is it compatible with the stock VIII front bumper? Where can I find out more on this item?

i'm gonna bump this for a vendor to hopefully respond

edit: the part number listed above is the 40 mm unit.

the 55 mm unit is PWR1140. (according to PWR's foreign site http://www.pwr.com.au/radiators_car.html#mitsubishi )
