Help: Upgrade to Twin or even bigger oil cooler?

I really need everyone's help on this. I currently doing an engine rebuild and its pretty much done. I have had my 25row Setrab oil cooler from my last build. Stock is 16row. Originally it was located in the passenger side lower bumper area. I also have brake ducting.

Ok things I need to mention. I track the absolute **** out of the car. Hence my rebuilds...After 1-2 laps i get 275F+ oil temps. I am using AMSOIL 15w50 Dominator oil.

My plan is to relocate the oil cooler to the front of the car in front of the KOYO Racing radiator and block off the 2 holes on the side of the front evo 9 bumper with bumper shutters.

A)Should I do twin 25row (get another one) oil cooler. Or upgrade to a bigger than 25row like 35row+

If yes, where to buy, brand, how much, what size, does it even work, does it fit, Y the lines, or 2 lines into a single port? How will that work.

B) Get like a 45row or something and just mount it directly in front of radiator and delete the A/C and condenser fan located on the left side of the radiator if you are looking straight at the car.

If yes, where to buy, brand, how much, what size, does it even work, does it fit, Y the lines, or 2 lines into a single port? How will that work.

How does any of these setups affect the radiator flow and cooling? Any other possible mounting locations or possible issues with mounting directly in front of radiator?

So what should I do? I road race/track/time trial/time attack the **** out of the car at the track and see some pretty high ambient temps in summer. What is the best solution.

And what do I do about shrouding? Custom make one?

If you guys have links to websites/threads/diys, information, etc please post. I am still researching.

P.S. Car is making around 27-28psi on BBK Full (journal bearing) on E85. It is a built 2.0L. Will make around 450whp on Mustang dyno. 220-230whp on same dyno bone stock evo. 500whp on Dynapak dyno. I will be in the 4500-8000 rpm range all day long at the track.

Do you have the stock ducting going to your oil cooler ATM?

No stock ducting. It was recently relocated to front of radiator. Originally was at stock location using the stock oil cooler shroud. I do still have the stock oil cooler shroud. But that is not gonna fit in front of the oil cooler with the bumper/crashbeam etc in the way.

I looked up amsoil 15W-50 and its properties are within the current tolerances that you are measuring.

According to Amsoil the kinematic viscosity of 15W50 is 5.6 m2/s at 150C or 302F. Unless I am mistaken, excessively cooling the oil is just going to make your engine work harder. However, increasing the efficiency of your oil pump system would be better.

Oh, I am sure the engine oil can take it. My question is, does the rest of the rotating assembly and engine like it hot like that. My guess is no.
