These turbo's are not comparable. The 3065 can make way more power, but its meant for an engine with more than 2.0 liters of displacement (the lag is unbearable for most). The FP green is probably one of the best turbo's available for the Evo right now, especially considering its cost and compatibility with the stock manifold. The 50 trim outperforms it by a small amount (in terms of top end power capability) however it will spool a little slower and take a huge slice out of your wallet.

They are 2 completely different animals. I think you should decide what youre really looking for in terms of driveability, price and overall power. Do you want a stock like spool or do you want the huge top end? Do you want to spend $1500 or $3000?

You can stick a turbo the size of a basketball onto a 1.5 liter. Yes it will work, but your powerband will be horrendous. In my opinion the 3065 belongs on a bigger engine than the 4G63 (unless you use a really tiny A/R exhaust housing) like the RB26DETT or V8. This is just my opinion. Some people think that a GT42R on a 2.0 liter engine is perfectly acceptable, but for many of us, this is totally unacceptable unless you plan on reving to 13,000 rpms and only driving in a straight line. We have very small displacement engines and to have a respectable powerband you can't rely on huge slow turbos for power. Too many people on the forum only care about peak numbers for bragging rights, and don't look at the big picture (the area under the curve).

mate, you are comparing apples to oranges...
the FP green is a stock framed turbo which can give a little more power on pump and plenty on racegas
the FP3065 is the biggest turbo from the GT30 series i think, which uses a GT35 compressor wheel and a GT30 hotside
The FP3065 has 65 lbs flow....
The FP Green has ~47 lbs flow...
If you drag the car often go with the big boy... now if you afraid of lag and you are lazy to down shift go with the Green...
Ohhh, and the cost is not just 1600 dollars of 3000 dollars... You need bigger injectors, retune, maybe other supporting mods like clutch , intercooler, cams etc etc and of course a shop to install them...

One day, variable geometry turbine housings will be available for the Garrett GT series turbos. When, or if that ever happens, turbo lag (even for our small displacement engines) will be a thing of the past, and so will those clunky V8's! =) Maybe someone can take one off a Porsche and fix it to a 4G63.

The FP3065 kit is $2995
The Green is $1000-$1700 depending on what option you choose.
I was referring to the prices of the turbos.
You need injectors, intercooler, cams, clutch and all that for both of them.
