honestly, if your going to be running a 4k turbo kit with all the supporting mods in a 35k+ car you cant really expect to cheap out on the clutch. I feel like everyone on evoM is all over this 37R but no one has the money or wants to spend the money to buy what they need to support it. I see crazy *** customer turbo builds with turbos in the battery location but stock mass air flow sensor???

If you want to make a PT6776 (37R) then you need to run high 30's boost and the car will make 700whp+ on a dynojet. That is about 560-620 wtq. The correct clutch to hold that would be the tilton carbon/carbon but its 4000$. but thats the breaks, do it right the first time instead of doing something 3 times. By the time you buy an ACT clutch and it fails or cant shift at high rpm, then you buy a twin disc which shifts great but blows because of the tq level, you could have just bought a tilton to begin with. Because nwo your about 2500$ in the hole for parts plus labor twice at around 600 a pop. 3700$ and you still need to buy a new clutch. SO now your charging that 4000$ clutch and paying to have it installed. Now your into clutch bills of over 8000$ spread out of 8 months of stress and ****ty times at the track.

READY MY SIG, ITS TRUE!!!

OK just looked at your info and it says you dont even have an evo yet? c'mon dude, buy the car, do some bolt ons and enjoy it and work your way up. Building a correct 37r car is going to be about 20k in mods.

Thats why i got it. My friend i race with had a 900 whp supra with that clutch. It held his power with many many passes and burn outs, and thats what Tom has in his car (the white evo from HPF) and i believe he has 600hp.

Believe me i want a carbon carbon clutch. but i was 2k short and i needed a clutch bad... fast. My clutch had no pads left it was nasty.
