Concerns after install of Dual Port BOV??

Okay guys...I have had a few different bov's on my evo thus far. Including the POS evo 8 plastic stocker, the greddy type s-recirculated, and the turbo xs rfl-VTA.

I installed this new TurboSmart Dual Port BOV recirculated first off. It appeared to be normal recirculated with the block off plate. I then took off the block off plate and installed the other misc. piece i received with it (the horn) to make it recirculate 50 and the other 50 to VTA.

After installing the horn to do the 50/50 .. It seemed fine at low rpm, shifting normal at about 3.5-4k. If I let my car creep up to .. lets say for instance 6.5k, and i have it half throttle, the blow off valve opens up and makes a premature shuuuusshhhhhh sound.. kind of like the pshhh sound with a VTA blow off but not quite.. it kind of sounds like its opening up halfway and the air is sounding...

My first thought was there was a leak some where.. so I checked everything and its all 100percent. It has to be something with the VTA side because when it is fully recirculated it is fine. I never once had any kind of problem with the fully VTA turbo xs rfl. but then again.. its not a 50/50. I am new to the 50/50. I read on lancershop that the 50/50 would be a good choice if you want some sound and no problem with the evo stalling or anything.

My car idles perfect and everything.. I think that what it might be trying to do is just bleed off because once I hit full throttle at 6k, then the noise goes away.

I just want this to be an open forum with suggestions .. especially from people that have the 50/50 currently.

Have you tried adjusting the BOV? It might be partially open and you can't hear the leak until you build up boost.
