i read somewhere that a bb turbo just needs to idle for little while.

so capping the breather hose wouldnt cause that cloud of smoke?

Idle for a little while? No. It needs to be primed, period.

I dont believe the capping would cause the white smoke but who the hell knows. Its not suppose to b capped, thats for sure.

went home did a few pulls oo and uncapped the breather hose on the crank case

1. no more smoke
2. built boost fine
3. idle a little smoother but still stumbles every now and then

ill change my spark pluggs and see if that fixes it

Keep an eye on it, it might just smoke when oil pressure is over a certain level. It may run fine for 3 pulls and then smoke on the 4th...again talk to who you got it from & see what they have to say!

The way to tell if the seals are shot on the turbo is to go WOT and look in the rearview mirror. If there is a puff of smoke when you let off the throttle... it´s probably shot. Also could be the lack of ventillation. Use one of those little K&N breather filters or a hose as suggested and run it down past the block(a puke tube).

im pretty sure it was a lack of venting. durring the pulls the boost build strong and there was no noise comming from the turbo.
