what are some other irudium plugs. How come my car will run idle fine for a min then the revs drop below 1k and it misses.

only thing i noticed while lookign for a problem is one of the tips from wire to coil pack is gold while the other is silver.Could this be a faulty wire.

why does the car run fine for a min then start messing up.

someone help me fix this i dont have a car now this is my dd

those look like normal wear on the plugs, the color on the porcelain looks like normal spark plug wear. Seems like the plugs are ok.00

Yeah - all plugs look like that in my experience. Mine looked like that when I changed them. Carbon is a by-product of combustion. Dark black or sooty gray is bad.

Have you tried going out and putting some spirited driving on it? Sometimes that fixes it.

does it do it after it heats up, or just after ideling? like if you idle it it starts misfiring, then you drive around and stop and its fine again? or only after the car is warm?

if im driving and stop for a lil bit it will do it, if im WOt it wont do it. its when i stop and idle for more then like 10-15 sec. So if im idle in the drivway it will do it.

is it bad to drive my car like this.

That is possibly the worst advice I have heard on this board yet. "If it's all messed up, go drive it hard!"

Just ohm the wires ot to see if they are still ok. Shop manual gives you the correct ohm readings. Im not on my laptop or I would have them for ou in a flash.

The problem is not you using copper plugs. Dont spend the money on the irridiums untill you know what is going on. Just putting in the irridiums is not going to fix your problem.

You eaither have a bad wire or possibly a weak coil. Make sure that where the wires go into the coil pack the metal piece on the wire is spead open a little so it fits snugly into the coil pack and makes proper contact.

Get the shop manual I dont feel like typing but there is a simple way to test those coilpacks.

I hate some of the dumb suggestions and ideas people come up with on here it really makes me wonder somtimes

did you reinstall the old plugs to check if it still does it? there was someoone else on the boards that had a similar issue before. you may want to check it out. well as far as magnacore wire factory is always best i think. but everyone has there own deal they like. i would stand to reason tho if you only changed the plugs and wires has something to do with those parts. also do you have access to a scan tool to check for missfires? if not usually autozone has a scanner they will check it free. OH.. one other theing check the connection on the coil packs and make sure the connector didnt get moved to the side and making slight contact will cause a volatage drop.
