spark plug problem

i changed my spark plugs to bpr7es and my car ran fine for a couple min then it felt like it was running on 3 cylinders. I pulled the plugs and they looked burnt. So i went and got bpr8es then i got the same problem whats going on. It just runs realy rough and idle drops to like 500 rpm and almost dies. Feels like its runnign on 3 cylenders whats going on thanks.

now pics on page 3

Try to do a compression test and/or leak down test. Also look into replacing the coil pack if you pass both test.

I recently had the same thing happen. The only way I could tell was that my EBC kept shutting down and powering back on and the selonoid was going nutz. I took the plugs out chacked them put them back in, same thing. Started ripping my interior apart to get to the EBC wiring. It all checked out. Finally put the old plugs back in and everything was fine again. I have no clue what did this, and I am still running the old plugs and till I have time to really figure it out. The only thing I can figure so far is that one of the plugs was a brass color on the nut the rest were the silver I am used to seeing but they all checked out as BPR8ES's as per the writing on the plugs??????

I had a similar experience using coppers so I ended up getting iridium plugs and they worked great. I never found the reason why they didn't work for me but the iridiums haven't given me any problems.

...it's probally because, when u replaced ur spark plugs they didn't "click" to the wire's from ur coil's.... cause the stock NGK one's r thinner then the NGK that ur probally want to use...that was the case with my's..they we're "thicker" so I needed to make sure that they all clicked...which u need to use some "muscle " I changed my's at 8k "11k now" and they have always worked great ... I bought my's at Pepboys so if helps...
