^Agreed. This will eliminate biased personal opinions on tuners, and arguments. At the same time this information is crucial to know from a consumer point of view, as this may eliminate engine parts failures or safety issues in the future.

and what about those people who have switched tuners? i was tuned by TTP at one point but i am now tuned by Jestr. why should TTP still have my vote?
If a tuner is manipulating the results and feeding customers misleading information, their actions will catch up with them just like their lies.

"Best" is still an opinion. I would like to see another thread, adding first off Mellon, he has a lot of customers that would have voted for him in this thread. But where does it end? You say you voted for a TTP, and switched, now you want to switch your vote, whos to say that won't happen again? Would you want another poll? I'm not knocking you, its just a sticky situation like Charles said.

If we can have an agreement and people can be civil about it, there should be another thread with all stock ECU tuners. But there should be rules in the beginning. Lets start a list of tuners, then figure out rules, i.e. 1) Only give your experience with X tuner, DO NOT bash or talk about another tuner on the list.

I completely agree that not only are there a number of tuners and vendors here not represented, many of which with good reputations. However to put it quite bluntly, I don't believe this pole or any other pole made on this topic are worth a crap. There is too much going on behind the scenes here influencing the poles on this topic. Between figurative turf wars, personality disagreements, personal opinions, which tuner can get more of their customers to respond/vote, and a number if other issues not the least of which may be people with rule breaking extra accounts swaying opinions and votes, this is a bad subject.

The best idea IMO (which is still not great) would be to make a poll on who you (the members) used to tune your car and if you are happy/ comments. The pole would have to be public so you could see who is voting for who. To make it less troublesome, I personally would prefer that all negative comments be left out as those are more often the problem and agenda loaded ones. This would still be IMO, not accurate to make any judgments, but better than some of the alternatives.

So you guys can do what you want to do, start another thread if you want, but these topics are watched closely for violations, so keep everything constructive and agenda free.

And have in turn run slower times by switching to your free sponsored tune by another tuner which is NOT AN EFLASH. What is the point? Its obvious that the intent to change your vote is not based on performance results as the performance has not increased in your vehicle as your Evo has never run quicker or faster than with the TTP-Engineering tuning.

The whole intent of your posting is not to be fair to other tuners not listed, it is solely to change your vote, so why not be honest with the members?

I believe the site administrator has been clear more than once that alterior motives and politics are not welcome in this thread, so I urge you to abide by the directives of the admin.

Polls are worthless...biases stain the integrity of the poll since some individuals cannot honestly vote without prejudices.

Right there with you. I have no problem starting a new thread, but I wasn't sure how Evom felt about it. Good to know its in the green. Lets get the list of tuners together, lets think of some rules, and I can start it. Then close this thread as we don't need 2.

Agreed
Turbo Trix
AMS

Rules:

1) Only post your experience with the tuner you voted for.

Well shoot, we may need only one. The only thing you will be allowed to post is your experience with your tune, thats it. Then start your post like this:

"Voted for: "X" (so a person looking for info on that particular tuner can find it easily)

I went with tuner "X" because blah blah blah."

Sound good?
