Boost Leak????

Ok... i'm at witts end.

At cruise and idle the car runs perfectly, as soon as i hit 0"mg the car goes 10.0, i can still boost 25psi only it's at 10.0 af.

I'm almost positive i need a new PCV and got one at lunch just want to hear some other opinions on what it could be.

Car still pulls 10"mg at idle. Rest of the intake tract is solid no leaks.

Try giving a better description of the problem. You talk about vacuum and then all of a sudden you mention 10 af. Wtf?

if you think you have a boost leak it would seem logical to perform a simple boost leak test to find where it is or if there is one at all.

no boost leak that i can find.....

changed out the pcv and still have the problem. as long as the car is pulling vaccum the AF is good at 1psi boost no matter how low the load the af pegs 10.0

Do you actually have a wideband or do you just have the OEM narrow band?

Have you logged any WOT runs? And, what is your exact modlist?

I have a full Innovate dl32 Logging Setup wired into the car. I've tested everything from part throttle cruise to WOT still spikes 10.0, i replaced the WB sensor and still 10.0.

It has to be a leak somewhere i just can't find it.

did you actually do a leak test with a tester over the turbo inlet or are you just blindly feeling around and listening for a leak? check to make sure the vacuum line is still on the EGR valve othe back of the drivers side of the head under the intake mani as this line is one that comes off quite a bit on the evo.

i've already done a full sealed system boost leak test with the engine off.
All vacuum and emissions hoses have been hoses have been replaced.
