Thanks. Believe me, the thought of an engine teardown had crossed my mind. Car is wonderful now (and by wonderful I mean loud and fast) except now I am getting intermittent hiccups on full throttle acceleration. Had the problem once before when it was stock and the dealership fixed it claiming something was intermittently leaking boost, BOV I assume. There seems to be a lot in the threads about this problem, currently researching it. Maybe it will be resolved after the Evo Green install and a tune.

is it like a fuel cut or a missfire?

your plugs might be gapped to large for the new power. try going for like .22

Gotcha. Not sure if it's a fuel cut or a misfire or something else. It feels like all the power drops away from the motor, like the time when my upper intercooler pipe blew off the throttle body. If I let off the gas and get back on it the power is back. If I leave my foot on the gas the power comes back except the car bucks from power coming off and then on so abruptly.

You'll need to tune for those new cams. Be sure you're not running too lean; you might be hitting boost cut to.

What are your other mods?

Makes sense. I did the exhuast, intake, fuel pump and intercooler as well. FP Green and bigger injectors on the way.
