When I swapped from HKS 272s to 280s, I had to take out a ton of fuel in the low/midrange and add some up top. Should work out to about a 2 lb/min gain in airflow above 6500 rpm or so IIRC. Boost threshold went up about 300 RPM, but it didn't bother me terribly.

With the Revolvers, boost threshold is the same, but it builds way more boost while it's still spooling and makes a ****load more torque. For example, where the 280s were at ~5 psi, the Revolvers had already built 10. I had to add fuel almost across the board, but I had to take out a little bit up top, which is not a good sign. I installed the adjustable cam gears and was able to get a little more top end airflow, but I have a LOT more work to do on these cams to realize their benefits. In my opinion, the revolvers are not "hit or miss," the tuning is. People (Buschur for example) that pick up power every time they install Revolvers don't do it by accident. I'll get around to sorting it out eventually. If you aren't willing to put the work into it, I'd recomend sticking with the more typical cams.
