Trubo XS FMIC

I'm debating between a turbo XS and AMS front mount intercooler to replace my damaged stock one. I really like the AMS one but the turbo XS is less expensive. Normally you'd think price is a pun for quality but I wanted the larger XS core to fill my bumper. Just wanted to get some thoughts and reviews. Yes I did use search but most turbo XS stuff came up with boost controllers. From a performance stand point I plan on going to a GT30 or GT35r in the future, will the XS be sufficant? what's the pressure drop on it/ how does it compare to the AMS one or for that matter the buschur deluxe (out of my budget) ?

Check out the AGP Intercooler. Do a search for AGP and you will find it. Tkmotorsports has a special going on right now. The AGP intercooler is a spearco core and is rated at like 1psi pressure drop @ 30lbs or so.......

The IC is only $545.00 right now.... I Have one and I love it, makes my front end look mean!

I have the Turbo XS on my car and I am very pleased with it. I got it for under $500 shipped from a vendor on here last fall. It came with some high quality silicone couplers and T bolt clamps and fit perfectly. You have to do some very minor trimming to the back of the bumper cover that takes about 5 seconds and is not visible. It is huge, did not increase spool time and you would be hard pressed to heat soak the thing. PM some different vendors and you should get a very good price on it.

And of course the most important part is that it fills the bumper cover completely.

Search around, on my stock turbo the intercooler made a nice addition of 27whp and the car is still running great. Here in PR the temps are killer 90 degrees and humidity is always over 40%. You buy whatever your pocket can afford but this intercooler is cheap and works great!

And no, Im no vendor I just try to buy performance parts at my own budget or my wife will kill me one day.

Yeah I am still using my stock intercooler pipes. Works perfectly with this FMIC. Once you see this thing next to your factory FMIC you won't have any worries about it falling apart. This thing is a beast, very well made.

That is a statement of zero technical input.
