hey i had my evo for about 2 months now and love the thing intill it had to go into the tranny shop for barrings to be replaced when they took apart the tranny to replace the barrings, they said that i have straight cut gears??? they said that they come stock like that and that its not a aftermarket thing.. i was looking into it and straight cuts seem to be aftermarket and expensive any one know anything about them?

 

Your tranny is stock. Unless its high miles it shouldn't need bearings.

Shep Racing or TRE is your best bet for tranny upgrades.

I have a TRE xfer case but I think I'm gonna have Shep do my tranny rebuild.
