Try adjusting the clutch rod and see if that helps.. there is a DIY thread around if you search for it. Also a few months after my ACT was installed my 3rd and 4th syncros went! Had to go with Exedy Twin Disc and transmission build. I went with a 5spd insead of the 6. Good Luck!

What else has happened? Did you buy the car brand new? How many miles when purchased?

Well I am almost 100% positive that it was the ACT clutch that screwed the syncros. At least thats what I believed that happened in my setup. What I did is find an EVO8 5spd with low miles on it and had it rebuilt by shep (I went with a 5spd instead of 6) if you alread have a 5spd then its not too much money to have it rebuilt, and be stronger after shep is done with it. I know I wasnt looking forward to this fix but its kinda the price you pay for the rush of a fast car

I have the ACT with prostreet 10.5 flywheel with at least 150 launches, lots of roll races, and 30,000 miles...tranny shifted flawlessly until recently. I was running low 12s-high 11s@115mph last year. Installed the AEM and 1000cc injectors and switched to E85 andrun consistent 11s right at 120mph now the old ACT seems to be overpowered...at least on the launch. Starting to slip from the launch and notchy in every gear...If the act is adjusted properly it works fine from what I see. Not a bad product if the pedal assembly is adjusted properly and the clutch is pushed COMPLETELY to the floor before shifting. An improperly adjusted ACT could definitely be the culprit for ****ty synchros.

My first clutch install was done by the dealership, so I expect that they put in the proper OEM fluids...My local dealer has a fancy evo only mechanic that worked on my car.

you probrably just need to adjust the pedal. the clutch should engage with the pedal about 3" off the floor with all 4 wheels off the ground. they should start spinning at around 3", any less and it could cause the issue you're having. it needs to be adjusted when the clutch is swapped, and do it with it at normal operating temp.
