I am looking for a boost control and I haven't decided.
i heard that you can control the boost with the EMS..

Getting a standalone just because of boost control is like bringing a nuclear missile to a knife fight.

Electronic boost controls work in varied degrees, ecu-boost with a different size restrictor pill than stock also works well. Both are much more time consuming than a MBC for boost control, but work much better for the time invested.

 

I know you can control boost pressure with aftermarket ems. However a good ebc has more options available and when used with the stock ecu turns into a nice pair.

there is something very nice about using the stock ecu, if you are beyond that in your modifications then an aftermarket ems is for you.

I've come back from an ems and simplified my modifications so that now I enjoy tuning the stock ecu with ecuflash. It and an ebc allows me to inject water and run what is in effect an aggressive map and a very mundane one by controlling boost pressure.
In the not to distant future there is talk of being able to switch maps on the fly with the ecu too.
