Opinions on Plastic BOV

Well, I'm going to be tuned next month, a map for pump gas and one for C16...

I have the stock 05 Diverter valve right now, and with the MBC cranked (logging knock, of course) on race gas I can get 28 psi in 3rd and peg the gauge in 5th.. (30), Now, this is only a megan racing boost gauge, so It may or may not be accurate... but since it seems the stock valve is holding decently.........

my question is should I replace it anyways or is this a "if it ain't broke don't touch it" type thing?

If I do replace it I'll be looking for the best price on a stock IX valve, any suggestions there?

if you're planning on running over 25psi, the stock IX DV probrably won't hold either. i've never heard of anyone using the plastic one without leaks at those boost levels.

Ok, I'll give the forge a shot then... my friend has one of those for sale. Thanks for the input!
