These are great guys. I'm gonna be using the nos maps in AEM with the system. My boost is already controlled by AEM so coming up with a failsafe shouldn't be any kind of a problem. Does anyone know anyone that's had a motor grenade because of a failure/other problem?

Also what kind of failsafes are people using and relying on? I've heard of a few different methods but I'd like to hear from peoples that work. I want to design a system that will switch to my nos maps and activate alky with a flip of a switch. That way I'm only using alky when I really feel the need for speed and just running a normal pump gas map when cruising.

I've never had any problems. even thought my kit is a bit custom i run 4 m15 nozzles at 120psi (can do 150 if wanted) being fed by twin Weldon 2032-A pumps.

Never had any sort of problem.... other than running out of methanol, lol
Around 3600cc of meth(depending on how much boost you're running), I'd imagine you have trouble keeping the tank full. And I thought one m15 at 120psi was a heavy drinker.

I have seen a few motors with holes in the block because of clogged lines, improper installations, not running fail safes etc..... A low alky light and a hobbs switch is not a fail safe. I dont care what anyone says.

I think Aquamist and Snow Performance make the best systems. The Snow with Safe Injection and the wastegate failsafe is great. Check out SlowCar's signature for the cleanest alky install I have ever seen. He posted on page 1 of this thread. He is using an Aquamist system.

the are only 2 failsafes on the market that works:

1 - Aquamist DDS3 and/or
2 - Zeitronix ZT2

the others (pressure switches, fixed lower limit flow switch) just gives you a false sense of security...

failsafes are not cheap...but its way cheaper than a new engine

I'm curious about cylinder distribution. Since it's being injected like nitrous, isn't there a possibility of a cylinder not getting an equal amount and risk of that one cylinder knocking? Has anyone done direct port?

Aquamist ftw I'm waiting on mine to arrive! on a side note this guy I knew blew his engine with alcohol BUT it was because he wasn't watching the system and ran out of juice and therefore BOOM.

to get even distribution, either direct port or spacing 2 jets, ~manifold width apart will help distribute the atomized meth droplets down the 4 runners

Gotcha. So how much are you making, trapping, and what are your supporting mods. Just curious before I go down this road. I'm deciding whether I want to go meth or just get tuned on racegas and pump and switch them when I wanna play.

that is exactly right on point

My buddy ran out of gas when he was boosting 28psi on meth and it threw two rods out of the block, it was nasty. Lesson always check your meth tank and level and gas level when boosting that high.
