We will get some fresh pics of the car up, Jarrod said he'll shoot some soon.

Cost of the build is the same as the rest we have been posting, approximately $20,000 with parts and labor to build it.

It was asked how much dyno'ing costs. The dyno is $100 per hour to just make pulls or you to do self tuning. If I tune it, then it's $150 per hour. I don't tune every car that comes through anymore, I'm getting picky

Spool up on the 67 turbo with a 2 liter is about 400 rpm laggier than a 35r. So 20 psi comes in fairly close to 4900-5000 rpm. The turbo is generally worth about 30-40 more whp PEAK than a 35r. Yes, the 67 Ptrim is about the largest turbo I recommend for the street and I only recommend it or the 35r if you are willing to tolerate some lag.

Also, yes, sadly it does seem as though this car could very well dethrone my RS. It really kind of pisses me off as my car is much lighter, much louder and has a lot more time in it.

This car is honestly a slap in the face to many who bust my ***** about my car being "light, over developed, no A/C, ligthweight rotors, non-available turbo, etc." It goes to show that these car we are building and pumping out with these type power levels have just as much potential as my own RS. That's how it should be though, give a shop money to build you a killer car and you damn sure better get a killer car.

Dave,

$20,000 if you were starting from scratch on a stock EVO right?

Frankly - it seems that Buschur Powered 9 second evos are no big deal - its almost like you expect the cars to go 9 secs !

Amazing

You guys make it to easy to go nines these days Dave. 5 Years ago the racers would have laughed you off the track if you told them about the car you were going to build in 2007.

Here is a basic run down of this build, cost wise.

BR Stages 1-4->>This is a modified list/cost adding the best parts for this build and taking out parts you don't need, it saves YOU money like this. So, BR custom cams, Race FMIC, AEM EMS, 1,200 cc injectors, double pumper. $6175.

BR 2 liter, $3000
BR Stg 3 head, $1600
BR Turbo kit-cast manifold $2995, header $3895.
Lower i/c pipe $150
Gaskets, timing belt, fluids, front cover, oil pump $1100
Labor, $1650
Clutch $2300-$3800.
COP Ignition $1100

If I total that using the high side of the quotes, so the header kit and most expensive clutch, it comes up to $20,970.

If you chose to add the same suspension it is $1100 and corner weighting alignment etc is $450.

Also, dyno time. If I do a complete car like this with a pump gas map and a race gas map that is usually around $300.
