keep GSC 280/280 mivec cams or return and wait for the S2 series

okay so i had made another thread as to how i was sent the incorrect cams....i ordered the s2's for my ix but got the regular 280/280......

should i return these and wait for s2's to be available or just put the 280's in..... im running a full-race gt35 kit.

Definitely wait for the S2's, that is what you ordered. According to Greg, in the GSC Forum, the IX S2's are on the shelves. Shouldn't be a long wait, especially if you call and tell them you ordered S2's and received 280's by mistake.

we are at 80% production right now and will be up to 100% by July 1.... the long waits should be over :-)

ok i voted for the s2 but it seems like GSC was at fault for sending you the wrong cams are they doing anything to correct their mistake?????? no offense to greg and the guys at GSC great customer service and all but if a customer didn't pay attention and paid someone to install it to find out the cams where not what he ordered and removed it costing them more money.............

Late apex, I wouldnt think twice get the S2 cams even if you have to wait a little while. I am personally looking forward to running these cams in my 8!
