i am running a gt4067r.you have to order everything, vale springs, the seat for the duel valve springs, and you have to use the ferrera valve lockers.everything drops rights in.you just remove your old springs seat with a magnect and throw in the new seat.really straight forward.btw my turbo seems to spool a bit quickers with the gsc cams.i am dynoing with mase on monday i will let you know the results.my car was making 611 hp with hks 280s @32psi.

Dual springs are strong and progressive from Supertech. We run supertech dual springs. Special smaller valvestem seals are required. Ti retainers and seats are available also. We run bronze supertech intake guides and Ferrea copper exhaust guides with black nitrided intake and exhaust valves.

Inconel valves are available in oversize only.

ye man pls keep us posted buddy
so you reckon if i buy the ferrea i need the springs, retainer, and the valve lockers.
no valve guide work or smaller seals required.

is this correct. I don't want to pull of the head or stuff around with changing guides
and or seals.

thanks for all the info NOS51

btw are the ferrea retainers titanium?

well it is pretty much a kit,so yea you all of it to make it work but you do not need to pull your head.just swap them in and done.depending on the mielage of your motor you could replace your valve seals since you are there already there but the ferrera set up does not require for you to change out your valve seals to a different style.hope this helps.and the retainers are titanium.this is a very good kit even though it is pricey, but it straight forward.other kits maybe cheaper but they require .you do change a whole bunch of stuff to make it work

About 7850-8000.

You risk stretching rod bolts after that.

The two weak links when it comes to higher than stock RPMs are the valve springs and rod bolts. The stock springs cannot maintain contact with the cam lobes on high ramp angle or lift cams, and if you want to rev higher, then you'll need to decide how much higher and whether you need to go single or double based on the cams you select and the upper RPM range you want to use.

Rod bolts fatigue, and since piston/rod accelleration loads increase dramatically with additional RPM, it is common for people who have rev'd their motors on stock rod bolts to have a failure either then or later, as the stretch in the rod bolts causes increased clearance in the bearings and then creates bearing damage.

If you want to run your 4g63 hard, replacement of these two parts with higher strength parts are in the definition of basic maintenance.
