dp touching oil pan

I just installed my Turboxs Dp today after having it since january. I noticed when i put the DP on that it touches the oil pan right where it comes down off the motor and bends to go towards the back of the car. just the front corner of the oil pan not the entire piece. i searched a little about DP's but i have to ask, this may be a stupid question but is this bad?? thanks in advance...

just wrap the down pipe with heatwrap..or take the dp off and use a ball peen hammer and bang it in where it touches the oil pan...and then wrap it with exhaust wrap...

im not worried so much about the heat, im just curious if the touching will cause any unnecessary wear or damage to the oil pan itself.

this is true but it will take a very long time to do so. heat wraping a downpipe will not eve come close to helping this problem using the ball ping hammer on it will however fix a part or you could tryto loosen the down by at the 02 housing and and try to adjust it and the tighten the bolt furth awa from the oil pan in order to kind move it away also worksthen tighten the remainder if that does not work take the ball ping hammer to it but i kno how you feel i just spent money on this and now i cant even get it to fit and now i have to dent it but it works.all the same

Does your DP have a flex sections or is it SS all the way through? A DP with a flex section may help.

so actually after thinking about it, i decided to just put the stock DP back on and sell the aftermarket one. its just a daily driver right now and i was happy with the performance before.
