Which FMIC for Evo Green 20G-9LT ?

I'm thinking ahead, and one day I will be the proud owner of an Evo Green... but I've got a ways to go... namely FMIC, cams, and injectors...

The FMIC will likely be the next purchase, so I want to get it right and not have to do it twice...

I won't be on meth or race gas in the future, and I don't plan on making over 400whp... so do I really need to spend $800 on a Buschur/AMS/Nisei intercooler?

I'm considering the HPF which appears to be on group buy for $550, or the Turbo XS can be had for about the same.

Any thoughts?

Do I dare even mention the word eBay ?

do you really need to upgrade your injectors?

I have the buschur deluxe core, it will work fine. For best results, go with something big like the the buschur race core.

Larger capacity fuel injectors

When is this recommended:
1.) If you have one of those stock turboed monsters running 11sec/116+ 1/4 mile times, bigger injectors may be a good idea, although folks have gone as fast as 119+ in the 1/4 with the stock ones.
2.) If you have a highly tuned Evo with a modified stock turbo (White Rabbit, 20G-9) that is making over 380whp dynojet/340whp DynoDynamics. 3.)
3.) If you have done ANY full turbo upgrade (Garrett 30R on up).

I thought the same thing about wanting to do it right, only buy one intercooler, and not running meth / alky in the future. Well, I was dead wrong about myself anyways.

The bug will continue to bite you. More is not enough. I ended up buying the BR Race FMIC and selling my old BR regular FMIC. I also run alky on my pump gas map.

If you really know what you want then the IC's you have listed are fine. But, if you have any inkling to mod more, spend the extra couple hundred bucks and have an IC that you can build into if you want in the future. It's a lot more expensive to buy a cheaper IC first and then a badass IC later.

+1 on the cams before the IC.

u should easly make it over 400 whp on 93 octane

if u ran this with meth or ras gas @ 28-30 psi u should be 460-470 whp

I'm going with the Cosworth cams... and I don't know if I'm "easily" gonna be over 400whp, because as it stands right now, I'm 262 with mods in my sig, this is a Dyno Dynamics

that dyno must read extremly low becuz u should be at atleast 280-290 with just a mbc and tbe, look at a buschur package for 330 whp, tbe, mbc, tune and a boost gauge. and 262 @ 3300 prm is barely getin anything started thats like foreplay
