Need Help Installing Injen Licp On Evo Ix

Hey, I have the injen licp and I was wondering if they had any problems with the licp popping off from the fmic. Did anyone happen to replace the flex hose or just use the OEM flex hose to mount it on? When I installed it, it seems to have only 1inch of insert so it pops off. any advise guys? thank you for your time.

is it bead rolled on the end of the pipe? Are you using t bolt clamps ? If no to either question, then a) it's gonna slip it there's nothing to grab hold of,...therefore its crap and b) using clamps other than t bolts will allow a to happen

Pretty simple especially if you are trying to run more than stock boost.

try to slide it as far in as you can with the stock hose.....What i did is slighlty wet with water the inside of the hose so you can slide it in, after moving it around for a minute or two the water should dry off....i'm using the clamps that came with the kit and i've had no problems with the hose popping off...good luck.

I had problems with my Nisei LICP popping off using the OEM worm clamps and OEM flex hose. I upgraded to tbolt clamps and the issue has resolved. Always scared that it's going to blow off though. Pain in the @ss to fix on the highway.
