WHOA I was talking about this:
hmmmm thats funny the same turbo as whats Norris design is using! lol

its the 42RS (or the 4202), the big bad one that the tuners are running.

Norris has proven, and im sure they like of AMS and Buschur are getting the same, that you will be seeing full spool by about 5K! thats not that bad form the graphs i have seen on here for 2.0s running 35rs!!

stop being a p*ssy and go for it!

Chris.
Not Paul.
Sorry for the confusion.

take a look at this thread. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=275461

Chris.
I would LOVE for you to show me and anyone else who is interested. BOOST is not instant. It is generated.

So to answer your post again... YES I "would like to see it"
I would also like to know if this is on a standard two liter configuration.

i can go one better and show you the ENGINE dyno chart if you want

http://www.lancerregister.com/showth...hreadid=132865

planet Evo, sorry if i sounded like a c*co, i didn't meen to. just like to get into these discusions. gives me somehting to think about/look into at work when bored. lol

and you are VERY RIGHT in saying that boost is not instant and it is graduated. sorry if i sound like it was. its supprising just how fast it comes in though.

ITS NOT A 2.0 though! sorry. he runs a 2.3 setup as the car spends most of its time doing sprints and trackdays (sprints are basically time trials. once round a lap or a set cause) and driveability is key to getting good times.

i not sure if he is running anti-lag in this vid. would be really cool if not, cos then the turbo could come in even stronger!

Thanks Chris.

Norris Engine Dyno will show much better response on the dyno than what you will see on the road. If you want to believe a 42R makes peak torque at 5k that is fine. But it's just not the case. There are numerous threads on Lancer Register confirming that that engine dyno reads like that.

I'm sure it will work great along with the 4 Walbro Pump..

BTW: Adam want his Lifter and Rockers back. So pay back your debt before you start talking S>>>

Yeah its cool, sometimes "we" (internet) don't come off right when typing. We try to type as if we are having a dialogue, but it seems to never come out that way. Personality is not a highlighted option on our nav bar. lol.
Now I ask about the engine configuration because I have seen 2.3 4g63 engines spool up gt42's aroung 5300 rpm. Meaning 20 psi. Then 30 by 5900!!
And I thought that was remarkable. BUT a 2.0 will not do it at or before 5000 rpm on exhaust energy alone. Thanks for clearing that up.
