OK here's the deal. I have a Defi oil pressure gauge installed and it continues to leak oil no matter what I try. It is no suprise looking at the possible leak points. I have the 42 Draft Designs adapter from the block, then a 1/8NPT 45, then a 1/8NPT to 1/8PT adapter, then the Defi sending unit. Well I want to make an adapter on the lathe that is the metric thread of the block (and 42 Draft Designs adapter) to 1/8PT, but I dont know what that Metric thread is. The parts are installed currently and I lost the stock plug so I can't measure the threads.

So in short, what are the metric threads of this plug (one by the oil filter) and/or the 42 Draft Designs adapter?? Searched but it is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Also, let me know if there is any interest in these adapters and I will make a few extras on the lathe while the tooling is set up.

 

Nobody knows the metric thread size on the plug next to the oil filter? Well I know people do so maybe I should say nobody wants to post it for me?

I now see 42 Draft Designs makes a BSPT to Metric adapter. Too bad they didnt 3 months ago. Also, the difference between 1/8" NPT and 1/8" BSPT is so minimal you can use them together. If anyone cares...
