Defi egt fitting

Im trying to find a 1/8 PT bung to weld on my manifold but i can't find anything. I can find all sorts of 1/8 NPT bungs, but the defi fitting is PT not NPT and from what i have been reading PT will not thread into NPT properly. Any suggestions?

Why do you need a bung? My defi EGT sensor threads right into the stock manifold, as long as the hole is tapped right.

Correct i am not running stock manifold. I have an ETS manifold.

I would perfer to weld a bung than just tap it for security. Plus i also looked online for a 1/8 PT tap and all that comes up on google are NPT taps not PT. I know some of you guys are running the defi egt gauge, so what did you use?

Thanks for the reply

I actually researched on the defi website and found they also have an NPT fitting instead of PT. Im not sure why they dont come with those to begin with, but anyway. I googled and found a site that sold it. Defi has it listed as an optional part.
