I have a depo gauge and sending unit but the sending unit doesn't really fit by the oil filter (even with the angle adaptor) so I have to use a hose and mount the unit somewhere else.

will this work?

it's an 1/8npt thread sending unit

 

it says its 1/8 npt male and female so it should fit the sending unit, and I have a brass fitting that goes from 1/8 npt to the oil filter housing thread size so it should fit that too

just want reassurance before i buy it.. also will it last as long as a steel line?

There are a couple plugs in the oil housing, did you try other plug?

 

there were 2 and neither of them provided a good safe fit... it was too close to the control arm

 

Call hose of hose tell them what you need. A 3ft SS line with 1/8npt male to female cost me $25 shipped.
