Prosport oil pressure sender leeaks!?! HELP :-(

Here's the deal.... I have the Prosport oil pressure guage and oil filter adapter (for tthe sending unit to connect to)..... Here's my problem, I have tightened, used thread sealant, and even pipe thread tape..... but the oil pressure adapter plate still leaks!?!?! I am curious what alternatives do I have? Is the thread pitch of the sending unit compatible with the factory Mitsu oil ports? Or will this gauge wire into the facory sending unit (and still be accurate)?

I am not looking to replace the gauge, or the sending unit...I just need to ditch the oil filter adapter plate, and find a more direct alternative...

Thanks again :-)

I have mine on a right angle adapter and a thread adapter. Both of which lose about a drop of oil in two months. Having had a few aircooled VW's in the past this is more than acceptable to me!

Where exactly did you tap into the oil filter housing? I just bought one of these and wanna make sure I get the most accurate location.

My prosport adapter leaks too, and looks like it sprayed as well a couple times. Any solutions to this?

I used their adapters to go into the already built-in taps on the filter housing, have both the pressure and temp prosport gauges, i have 0 leaks and beat on her at the track several times a month.
