Prosport Oil Pressure istall on an IX MR

Prosport Oil Pressure istall on an IX MR

Ok they may be a stupid question but want to make sure I do this right while my car is apart. I am upgrading all my gauges. I have a Wideband, Prosport boost and Oil pressure.. I took out the MR Gauges. I see there is a sender by the oil filter already do I replace with the one from prosport? Do I have to buy the adapter and do that other install by the oil filter that hex screw? The adapter from 42 draft design? Just want to make sure I have all the parts I need. Any help would be appreciated. I did search but didn't find to much with an MR.

What is the oil pressure measured in and what is the range on both MR and prosport gauges?

I think the MR gauge is temp not pressure. The prosport goes up to 150 looks like this

Yes, you need to replace the sending unit on the oil filter housing with the prosport sender. The original sending unit is for temperature, the prosport is for oil pressure. Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with the OEM gauge setup on the MR's

Which oil filter housing hole is the original MR temp currently occupying?
