Was that a pump gas tune? If so wouldn't a 50 trim respond better to more octane?

IIRC the larger turbo options don't respond well unless you can run better quality gas to allow the early timing & extra boost needed to wake up the bigger turbos. Adding water and/or methanol injection may also help to wake the car up.

guys...Wael got it a little confused here...this is a mustang dyna and he made 396WHEELhp...it is not engine horse power...
However,,i still think there is something majorly wrong the tune...the car is not making enough torque....maybe as most of you suggested it could be a boost leak but i doubt....i think its the tuner....i really didnt feel good driving Waels car yesterday...i immidiatly felt that my car was faster with the same mods but with stock turbo....
we will get him retuned and find out the issue...

however that is is whp/wtrq....and believe it or not this is my old VERY conservative tune....now i am making 397whp/376wtrq on the same dyno at 1.6 bar ~24.5psi

our pump gas here is 98oct europ spec which is equivilant to us 93oct..

later

Yes, but the torque and hp are not on the same scale. Look at the left and right axis labels.

Without alky, race fuel, or aem ems, I don't think this guy stands a chance. The tune can probably be a bit better on pump but Wael will continue to loose. The IXs over here are seeing about 400-420 whp on an un-manipulated Dyno Dynamics dyno with those mods and alky. On pump gas the power falls of considerably. Gotta go alky, high octain, or ems in my unknowing and lowely opinion.

That is a dynamic test systems Dyno .. It calculates ENGINE HP when you select TORQUE as display output by using some form of calculations when it does the drivetrain loss test at 2500rpms ..

When you select boost or AFR, then the output is WHEELS

Wael, you're running a bigger turbo with the similar boost to stock .. your higher rpms are better than stock .. but below that .. it's worse .. sounds normal ..
You have to run higher boost to shine .. and the torque curve looks normal for that type of dyno with your 50trim ..
