Actuator arm preload f/ EvoGreen???
Installing my EvoGreen on Wednesday, and just wondering what the proper preload/adjustment is for the wastegate. Car has the normal Evo 9 wastegate, not the FP version. Thanks.

My Green has the FP HD actuator, so it´ll be a bit different than yours with the stock IX actuator. Most guys with the FP HD actuator are starting at about 3 full turns.
That is...first, loosen the backup nut, remove the cotter pin, rotate turnbuckle till it just slides on and off the flapper valve arm freely while holding the flapper closed against its seat on the turbine housing. Next: rotate the turnbuckle three full 360* turns counterclockwise(shortening the actuator rod)and pull it back onto the flapper valve pivot arm and retighten the backup nut and reinstall the cotter pin.
Now three turns is the starting point with the FP HD actuator, but with the stock actuator you´ll probably need one or one two turns more than that for a total of about four to four and a half complete turns overall. However approach with caution and just try three full turns to start with. Once you´ve installed it then you might find that you need to dial in another one to two turns more if the turbo spoolup is a bit sluggish.
