Re-circulate BOV with stock air box: quite

Just got my Forge Evo15 today. Ordered from TTP a 3 days ago.( awesome guys BTW)
Installed it a few mins ago on stock air box and went out on for a test drive, and.... well can't hear anything. is it normal?? ( sorry for the noob question: all my ex cars didn't come with re-cir bov 240sx turbo with HKS ssqv so it's loud) .
i was watching a vid of another EVO with the same BOV and it was a noticable whoosh. I'm using the yellow original spring and will change it later next week when i get my injen intake and ic piping kit.
1. when i unplug the vac line, i can hear and feel vacume so I know it's getting vac. so..enlighten me please.

PS: and i can't hear my stock BOV either.

i dont think you should be able to... i know the open cone filter or assorted intakes create a louder sound (Whoosh), but you should not with a recirculating bov

disregard this... i installed a forge recirc to my gfs evo..with stock intake...no sound really at all
just installed a hks intake recirculating...bov makes tons of noise now...once you get your intake you will hear it all the time...recurculating or venting..

it will be loud and work perfect..you gotta figure your blowing air into a rubber hose..being stock..and when you have a metal pipe..its alot thinner and louder..
