Which intake has the most power gains?
Ive searched and search, but I cant seem to find any information on which intake systems for the evo are better or worse than others. Anyone have any information?
The Buschur pipe and filter kit is the only one I have found that affects the MAF less than 3% according to Evoscan. All others range from 10% on up. What this means in english is its the least likely to need an immediate retune because its going to cause weird lean spots and ptotentially cause other issues.

Before I went overboard on my car the guys at Mynes put a Blitz Induction cover on my airbox. Before putting the filter on I was dynoing at 275 WHP on a Mustang Dyno with exhaust, intercooler and upgraded cams as my mods. After the filter was in my dyno numbers were around 298 WHP.

Huh? I was referring to you saying a Buschur intake costs $250 when it costs $80. Hello? I didn't say anything about your $50 Pep Boys solution. You cannot be that dense...I refuse to believe it.
i just installed the injen upper pipe and intake and i really like it. Im doubting it's gained more than a couple horsepower without a good tune, but it really does feel better. I personally like the sound of the turbo spooling and bov with this intake.
yes dense.....
have a good night fanboy
if you take a stock tuned car then add an intake and tune for youll pick up 10-15whp.......
they tested filtration of about 6-8 different filters to see how effective they were at removing dust/debris in a magazine(i think turbo), and the hks RS finished last, the apexi was first.

The MAF pipe is a separate part - the filter itself is $80.
