Perrin and UR are lightweight pullies. You dont want those.

ATI and Fluidampr are heavier than stock, however thats not their job, they are not there to make horsepower. They are to reduce the harmonics that can cause excessive wear on engine bearings.

ATI is much harder to install than Fluidampr. Fluidampr is also cheaper.

TTPengineering and Jackson Auto Machine sell the Fluidampr, TTP might be able to get the ATI super damper as well.

You do not want an undampened pulley.

That is not what it is designed for. It has a specific purpose to absorb the crank's twisting and flexing which extends engine bearing life and free's up horsepower.

We have these in stock at the best pricing in the country. Send us a PM if interested.

haha i read all about this. as my stock damper bolts all 4 of them snapped while jus cruising on the freeway las week. i was lookin at the perrin but its a big no no. just stick with the stocker. unless you plan on rebuilding your motor to a stroker or something in the near future.

Stock elastomer damper is designed for stock engine harmonics. As soon as you modify the Evo and increase the stress on the crank, the harmonics changes and it no longer is able to absorb the frequency of the harmonics correctly.

Picture building a slot ported subwoofer enclosure tuned at 35HZ for a 10" woofer. Naturally it would be loud at 35HZ like it is designed for.

Now take this hypothetical speaker box, cut out the speaker hole larger and cram a 15" subwoofer in it and see how well it performs. That is virtually what you are doing by using a stock engine damper on a modified engine.

It is not able to effectively do the job it was designed for.

If you want better throttle response invest in a lighter flywheel. By getting a lightweight flywheel you are doing non-preventetive maintenance and it'll put more wear on your engine.
