mines set at 5500RPM's right now. It's not bad for the car as long as you don't overuse it or stay on it too long. But obviously it's not a good idea to use it all the time.

Mines at 6500rpms and I build about 15psi making all four break loose. Make sure your tire pressure isn't too low, it's better to have tire spin than a dead tranny or cracked Tcase.

No, no; Make sure it isn't too low. I usually have mine around 35psi with tire spin. Some people lower the tire pressure at the track in order to get traction, thats sometimes when you break things.

also too low and you can spin the tire on the rim! i think the F1 guy glue the tires on! they run sub 1bar i think! also note that as tired get hotter the preusre goes up!

Chris.

I've been running 5500 rpm stutter and ~25 psi tire pressure for years. Always seems to work best, unless the track is very well prepared. In that case, I raise the rev limiter to 6k or 6250. With the right clutch work this has been good enough for a best of 1.55 in the 2G with all season Dunlops, and 1.59 in the EVO on the snow tires. I consistenly run in the low to mid 1.6s when I'm pushing the car. I've tried all kinds of combinations of launch rpm, antilag, tire pressures, etc, and always end up coming back to this same setup.
