Clutch Install?
Clutch Install?
I have an '05 MR with 31,000 miles and the clutch needs to be replaced. Now, I have done clutches on other vehicles but never on an Evo. I was wondering if there was any special tools or anything special I would need and any helpful hints especially around the ACD area. I have searched and read all the install tips but was just curious.
search bud
under how intalls there is a thread on how to remove and install cluth, i was looking at it and it looks like a night mare
id pay 600$ and get a nice exedy twin

I've done clutches on other cars so I'm ok on doing then but haven't done an Evo yet. I was just curious about the ACD part of it. You know like if I have to remove the whole thing or if I can just move it to the side and keep it out of the way.
Yea I'm buying a stage 1 kit from Clutchmasters.

and yes its a major pain to change a clutch on the evo so why not just pay and special tools you need the clutch centering tool and to get air off(bleed it) the acd system you can do it, search i cant remeber how...

Yea I saw the thread on bleeding the ACD system. Everything is included in the clutch kit. Pressure Plate, alignment tool, throw-out bearing, clutch
