Time to mod, but...

Hi everyone
I think is time to mod my car (starting with the clutch, it's slipping BAD), but I don't know if an upgraded clutch kit will afect my TC (I read ACD article and still concerned). Also what clutch should I use?, 50/50 or cooper ceramic whith an ACT extreme P.Plate, should I change my flywheel?
I will be installing:
Header
turbo outlet
turbo back 3"
MBC 24psi
fuel pump
IC
HKS ssc BOV
272 exhaust cam
don't know if a re-flash or an apex
Don't know what power to expect with this but here I go....

No, upgrading the clutch won't affect your transfer case or ACD.

What do you mean by 50/50? What is cooper ceramic??? Yes, I recommend upgrading the flywheel instead of resurfacing the stocker.

- Forget the "header" and just port/coat the stock exhaust manifold
- turbo outlet = o2 housing? If so, good, get the regular SS O2 housing
- 3" TBE is great, of course - just be sure to get a good one
- MBC - get a Forge UNOS. Boost level will depend on the octane of your gas and your tune. You can't just say "24psi."
- IC = IC what? Do you mean FMIC? Which one will you get?
- HKS SSQV = AWFUL choice. Don't be a ricer
- Exhaust cam? Why? That doesn't help much. Do a full set of IX cams if you want to open the head
- What is an "apex"? Do you mean S-AFC? If so, then that's not even a choice. Get flashed...tons better.

exidey stage 2 and flywheel will work great
also i would just get flashed for now it is cheaper and works well you dont need a standalone ( if your talking about the power FC) yet wait for more mods dont forget I/C piping and you should see 325-365 depending on tune and what grade fuel you run or meth injection. almost forgot GSC S1 cams OR COSWORTH and i mean both cams

An aftermarket clutch will grab a lot harder and if your dropping it then you will be more prone to TC failure but a clutch alone wont hurt anything, its all in how you drive it.

I like the twin-discs over the singles but thats my opinion...

Second if you have a IX no need to get a bov, the stocker works great and with a cone filter it makes all the noise you want to hear, if thats what is important to you.

Third if your doing cams just get GSC or Cosworth cams and be done, dont waste your time with just adding an exhaust cam.

Just go with a re-flash, with ecuflash there is no need for anything else for your mod list.

Travman FTW.

Powdevo13, it's "Exedy", and I agree.

got the point....

I have $2k for mods (clutch is on other budget) and just want to go the right way; I am also considering the meth injection.

With 2k, consider the Warrtalon package in my sig + GSC S1 cams, and an o2 housing. Or, maybe look at the Buschur Pure Power package...

$2000 gets you good power but it doesn't get you all those mods you listed...

I already have the fuel pump, the O2 housing, the MBC (turbosmart) and the header.

Ah, too bad. Would have been better off with a better MBC and not wasting money on a header. Oh well.

you definitely don't want to get a s-afc when you can get a tune for as little as 50.00 and have much more control over the AFR and Timing etc.. PM me when you're ready.
