There is some nice info on that page you posted. I can't say I totaly understand it all but it sure makes it look like these are better than spark plugs. Has there been any real world testing?

For $25 a piece I would hope that they do something. It would be interesting to see some actual test on an Evo.

I can't help but wonder if this acts as a capacitor/amplifier but without double blind testing, it's hard to say. It would be great if this could replace HKS DLII and other similar units.

Bosch used to sell a spark plug analysis machine that wasn't too costly, maybe one of us could try to source one (they sold it so people could view the wild spark of their trielectrode plugs...)

$25 bucks a plug is really not that bad compared to the cost of stock iridium plugs (for the IX)

FWIW the application guide for the BE-1 covers every car you have in your "drives" list. 14mm flat seated plugs are pretty generic and should cover many late-model Asian and European cars by default. the reach is a different story.

From the website:

CAUTION: Pulstar model recommendations are for stock, unmodified engines. If you have added an aftermarket turbocharger, supercharger, nitrous or any other product that increases displacement or compression to your engine you will require a colder heat range pulse plug in order to avoid possible damage to your engine. For these applications please see our other great product at www.directhits.com or call us at 888-800-6700.

Hmmmm...a different site and more info.

There was a thread about this a couple months ago. There where some unhappy customers saying that they didn't work right. You'll need to do some searching cause I'm too tired to care at this point.

Also... I seen in a magazine where they where tested for like 8 hp gain on an Evo VIII which is what got me interested.
