u still have the code on? did u find out what was causing it? i guess alot of people are telling me to disable through the ecuflash but iam affraid it would disable the code for good. i mean what if i was actualy misfiring, then would it ever come on and warm me?

You can disable it through ecuflash or just live with it. If your car is misfiring really bad you will feel it.

I never had the P0300 and never will - I disabled it in the ecu on my IX.

Thanks to MrFred P0300 is a non-issue now...

yup still have it. I'm going to have to buy a tactrix just to upload the new rom and do the disable since nobody has found a true fix for the problem. it makes me wonder what can it be......since my car is stock and the light never turned on before. and i haven't changed anything on the car. I sleep thinking of my cel light i log on every day to see if someone somewhere found something out!! i guess my best bet is to disable it and forget it. I am hunted by this amber light coming from instrument panel.

I dunno, i cant remember how it was before the cel, because its been so long. It rattles lilbit more at idle, other than that i don't think it has changed. i thought this was only an evo 8 and below issue. how does your behave?

its fine, or i guess i don;t know, because i had the cel since i bought the car, the autozone guy said that he feels a lil bid of shaking in the steering wheel at idle, which i thought it was kind of normal considering that i have an exhaust (striaght pipe) and it bangs againts one of the brackets below the car.

Change Per. 2 Bit 4 to value of 0 and the 300 code will never come back.

is that something within the ecuflash code?
if it is, then unfortunatly iam not very knowledgable of the software yet, however, iam trying to see if i could solv the issue, or figure it out without the flash first.

Click the link in a few posts above and read. Its VERY easy to do. Hell there's even a VIDEO provided on how to do it. Doesn't get any easier than that.

If your car is misfiring badly you will feel it at WOT. The car will hesitate and not pull smoothly.

I don't think he wants to do that. I could not deal with anymore and had the code removed.
