Evo green owners....got a question!

Alright I just got mine in and have a little problem. I purchased an Invidia 02 housing awhile back, but never had it installed. Went to conneted it and it doesn't fit. one of the bolts are too long so the 02 wont line up unless I cut the bolt shorter. I would like some advise on what to do. I'm thinking about going with another 02 but would like to know which one are being used with this setup and if any of them needed to be modified to fit. Thanks in advance.

Cut it shorter or use a shorter fastener. Your taking about the matchup between turbine housing to O2 housing right?

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. Can I find these fastener at any auto store?

if you only need to make up a little room you could use a hardened lock washer...

Why are you asking us green owners cause this problem has nothing to do with the green since it is the same on the exterior to every evo 9 turbo?

Go to a good fastener supply house

Get Grade 8 bolts as they standup to 1200* F. heat, as well as continual heat cycling and vibration due to their high tensile strength. Apply high-temp antisieze compound to the threads before assembling.

Hey THANKS for pointing that out buddy. Like I said I never got to install the Invidia 02 so I wouldn't know if it had problems lining up with my stock set-up or not. That is why I was asking GREEN owners. You by far have helped me the most.

actually, what i think he meant was that both the oem ix turbo and green are the same shell (or whatever u want to call it). Meaning asking ix turbo users would yield more results.

I have an invidia 02 on my ix but i didn't install it myself .. will have to ask the mechanic what he did for my reference.
